Mt. Lou San Bible Camp has been serving the community for more than 70 years but have only recently begun serving parents who homeschool their children by offering an eight-week physical education course on their 150-acre campground.
For parents of homeschoolers, it can be difficult to find convenient co-op events that help their child to learn and socialize outside the classroom. This makes an outdoor facility, where kids can learn and play with others, an extremely valuable resource.
Mt. Lou San’s physical education courses offer a safe and open environment for children to improve various athletic, coordination and problem-solving skills. It is also a great opportunity for improving socialization skills – helping children understand their cultural expectations and allowances.
Mt. Lou San will be hosting their next physical education course starting April 1st and running to May 6th, 2014. Classes will be held on Tuesdays from 10:30 am – 12:00 pm for children in grades 3rd – 12th.
All guests are welcome to enjoy Mt. Lou San’s comfortable facilities or the miles of wooded trails. Space is available for family members to relax, socialize, work on schoolwork or just enjoy the outdoors during their child’s class time. The camp, located at the foot of Blue Mountain in Linglestown, PA, is conveniently close, yet maintains an isolated feel from the world around it.
Cost for the Physical Education Course is $40 for a six-week session. Class sizes are limited to 20 students. Multiple classes may be offered if registration demands.
Registration for the Physical Education Course can be completed by calling the Mt. Lou San Bible Camp office at 717-545-2841 or by completing the online registration form below.
